Funny this thread shows up now. I just bought some new/used 32x11.5 MT's last night. I love the tire! Good choice either way. Definitly changes the gear ratio's though and I notice it the most in first gear at a stop and then when shifting into 5th. I went with the 32's because of the deal I got on them. I couldn't find a nice set of 33's and I'm too cheap to buy new. Post pic's when you get it all set up!

Nice rig!! The new tires look great!

Hey thanks! Yeah, I'm real happy with it. I've got a new OME suspension coming soon too which will hopefully help with ride quality over the older Rancho suspension that's on it now...

I too was in need of tires, and I wanted to run BFG/AT 33x10.50-15. I went to the Discount Tire website and listed under their price it said "found it lower, let us know." So I did, giving them the Onlinetires.com link and the price per tire shipped to my door ($152.75). I didn't expect Discount to work on the price much, but to my surprise they did. I bought 5 tires at $148 each, down from their list of $161. The guy discounted the mounting/balancing from $15 each tire to $12, and waived the $2.25 each tire disposal fee. This was done through some corporate location here in town, not at the local store.

The fellas at the local store were very unhappy with me. They even took a parting shot when I left about the disposal fee. I really didn't care. It was nice to keep my money local, and have a company work for my cash. Total out the door for 5 tires was $855 even.

You did real good deal man! gratz!

I ordered everything from 4wheelparts, they gave me a lil' discount, here is what I got:

4 BFG KM2's 33X10.5X15
4 Pro Comp 15x7 Black steelies, with caps
24 lug nuts
Tires mounted & balanced

$1060 shipped to my door

I probably could have done a little better but finding the 15x7's in stock was pretty tough. I called everyone and everyone was back ordered on the wheel size I needed.

Ok, so I found the wheel I want.. Is a backspacing of 3.75 bout right for 33's with a 2" lift?

Rock Crawler Series 98 Black Monster Mod Wheel

What I don't like about those wheels is the load handling. Only 1600lbs per wheel. The mini truck specs a load range C tire and the wheels should handle the same too. That means 2200lbs or more.

why is the bfg such a hot topic? whats wrong with interco tires

Tire arguments have been all over ih8mud and I think its just because they are a new tire and people have been really happy with the performance. Not to put other tires down, they are just a good tire that is relatively new. Many people have said before buy what you can afford. My brother has them on his cruiser, and his 72 chevy loves them apparently...

And yes they do make a 33 10.50 R15: look at there website. I tried to post the url to the link but it didn't work... Just search by size. Good luck!

Im running the 32/11.5 kms with 221k on the clock in my 89 pickup and I really wish I had gone with good ol 31s or got the 33/10.5. Your freeway speed goes all to hell unless your one of those 70 in 4th gear sort of guys
