I didn’t see anywhere, what year is that F motor? Your head looks different than mine around the valves. Mine‘s a ‘64 (40201 block and 40207 head).

I believe yours is a 135 Siamese port head and mine is a 145 (I think) 69 head I got from Spector about 10 years ago.

Well it’s time to update this thread. With the 2F installed and running good. We sold the house and moved from southern Nevada to northern Nevada. Much cooler up here. Well the 40 was in storage for almost a year and I had to register it so I calculated the mileage and went to DMV. Well this year I go down to the DMV and I missed the mileage by a100 miles. Well that froze my registration. So after speaking to the smog department they told me that the only way was to go get a smog inspection done. So I did old oil, dirty air cleaner year old gas. And it passed 
. So back to DMV and no problem just give them the money. So now 6 months later the vacuum advance doesn’t work. So I installed a DUI distributor. Wow that’s nice.

Pretty sure they’re staffed with lesser Imps and Demons from the seventh circle of H€ll.
I like the DUI. It’s sports a “big Mellon”, but seems to work very well.
We have friends that moved to Vegas from a small town in WV with two stop lights. I still question they’re sanity.
