It's about that time....need to get the brakes done. All four rotors are shot. Looking to see what you guys are running....OEM with 100 series pads, R1, DBA,....I checked on the board, and it seems like it boils down to preference. SO, let's hear it!

Give a call over to SD Trux and get you some :pimp: OEM slotted rotors.

I have been very pleased!

P.S. I stuck with the 80 series pads.

I installed 100 series pads and OEM rotors on the front from Cdan about 3 years ago and they are still running strong. Had an emergency job on the rear due to a sticking pad so installed rotors and pads from o'reilly's, they fit fine but have not had them long enough to comment on longevity.

Running OEM rotors front and rear with 100 series pads up front and 80's in the rear. Good time to check and repack your wheel bearings if your in there.

Same here, CDan, great deal on whole package..............ask for full brake service with 100 series pads...........he will do the rest.

New oem rotors and 100 series on front, all oem rear.

Ya, I'm leaning toward OEM and 100 series pads from Cdan.

I like the idea of just calling him up and getting everything I need the 1st time.

I have a brand new set of OEM 80 pads, I was going to use...but I think I will sell those and get 100 series.

Mark, what did your rotors from SDtrux run. I'm leaning toward OEM mostly cuz from what I have read, the high end, high $$$, rotors perform about the same.....but I don't know, cuz I'm still running OEM.

Thoughts???

Mark can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he said they cost about the same as after-market (slotted) rotors. However, the S.D. Trux rotors ARE OEM, just enhanced by SDT. The SDT logo is also a wear indicator. When the logo is gone, so are the rotors . . .

Yeah, John gets the rotors at his discount and sends them off to his machinist so it takes an extra week. But not sure if it's a straight forward rate so I would prefer to let John answer that. As prices may have changed in the year and a half since I ordered them. Call 858-530-TRUX (8789)

Hopefully John is doing better from his accident.

And yes there is a dot next to the other text in the 2nd photo that indicates if they can be machined or not.
