96 80 series, just doing some routing maintenance. Left side tie rod end is stuck in the tie rod. End came out of the knuckle fairly easily and clamp came loose easily. But, threads are stuck in tube. Any tips? I have used loads of PB blaster and tried to move it back and forth. Completely stuck. Car has been in Texas all of its life, so no salt damage or anything like that.

Get a new tie rod and ends. I had this a couple years ago. Whereas I was able to get the ends off with a torch, the excessive heat and rust ruined the threads, so it was all for naught.

Had I known they were available at the time, I'd have also upgraded to heavy duty aftermarket parts.

If the threads have broke free, turn it out and back in. That may free up the rust that is binding. Kroil is my go to for this situation. Just freed up the entire front linkage of a 60 series. Looked awful.
