He's a guy named Dan Gable. He built it.
His was the full bodied Orange FJ40 from the early days with boggers.
The buggy with the Grand Cherokee clip is a TC
That day was brutal. 100 degrees. Third trip on my buggy and the first in the heat. I tore out the exhaust and coated it and spent hours making heat shields.
It dumped hot Tranny fluid on me out of the dipstick when I flipped it and I ended
Up making catch cans for that stuff too.

That was a ridiculously fun trip with so many mud folk I had "known" for close to a decade and not actually met in person. Hard to imagine later that afternoon/weekend we all got spanked by a water bar

I remember trying to help spot big silly up that on the first run for Joel.....I was like "uh....nope".......lol

The XD above is the sub compact...not the single stack XDS model. Similar, but a tad bit bigger.
you can come by and look at mine. Thats what I use at the gas stations in Jackson...
