There was a lot of technological “help” being given out. Much of it in the field of artificial intelligence.

This little announcement came out right before we went west to pick up our hitchhiker, a few days after the Rocket Science handed in his two weeks notice. Notice it was quietly made in Motor Home Life, which is often used to break stories they don’t want you to hear about.

The carport was hastily converted to a garage so that experiments could continue behind closed doors...

Reverse the cause and effect. The simple answer is that as balance was restored to the universe, Geoff’s position became dangerous to maintain. The best possible outcome of The Secret Weapon is that we wouldn’t need to resort to its deployment. While it appears that Geoff blinked first, this is far from over.
