In my opinion your troopy is wayyyyy cooler ! and if you felt like spending 75k plus on a LC jut throw that money into yours!! I personally like the looks of the older rigs a lot better. I think I speak for a lot of the guys here. I like old school, all mechanical, and round beautiful eyes so don't even worry about it hahah

Oh im not planning to purchase, for that money, if i had it, would be invested in the troopy for sure. Just interested on how they plan on staying on the right side of the law. I almost invested in one of the defenders that the NC guy had that ended up having a bunch seized and crushed... its going to be interesting

IF THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE pricing would almost certainly START at 6 figures. That being said I sincerely hope they can pull it off. If only to prove Toyota wrong about how much this market wants these vehicles.

Here is the beautiful thing for me....
I can buy a nearly new double cab pickup with all the goodies but with a 1HZ for under $30grand. I can buy a new double cab with the v8 for about $50grand. I can't register it in the USA but that is ok, I have only spent about two months in the USA this year anyways. And I can drive it to the USA anytime I want.
Win win in my book and I don't have to worry about the guys telling me it is legal or the $100gtand they are going to sell it for.
Thing is, I might just buy a wagon before the double cab pickup!
