Awesome 60 conversion!! Thanks for sharing.

This may be a strange question but is there any reason as to why you have a catalytic convertor? Just wondering I thought there was better exhaust flow without them. My truck dose not have one but if there is good reason to have one then I guess I can put one on.

My truck is not emissions exempt yet here in Boulder County. They pushed it out to 35 years I believe. So I have to have it for that reason. :(

Great build man! It INFURIATES me that someone keyed it. Time to break out the game cameras and put them in the front yard/garage area. It would be so nice to catch that DB in the act, beat his a$$ AND prosecute for trespassing AND property destruction.

Can't wait to see the hunting cam footage.

Yeah I'm waiting on my friend to drop them off. I havent parked my tuck outside since it happened for obvious reasons. As soon as I have the camera I'll bait the D-bag again.

Thanks for all your sharing! I'd be interested to know about the driveability now, both on road and off and get your impressions on that.

So far obviously there is a TON more power. I have no issues getting up to speed on the hwy before I have to merge now. Which BTW is super nice lol. The handling with the 4' OME is great. The steering response is a bit slower than before, but that's to be expected with the increased height. I may add rear anti sway bars as this is primarily my DD with mild off roading when I take the boys up to the family cabin. So I guess Yes it is a bit show but still mostly all go. ;)

New meats for Therapy.

Nice! What offset are your wheels and are you experiencing any rubbing?

Looks to be factory wagon wheels. If so, was there no concern from the tire shop about mounting a 12.5 wide tire on them?

These are stock FJ60 wheels. I belive they are 3.5" of backspacing. There is some mild rubbing at full lock. I may get a 1.5" spacer from Spyder Trax. But I'm not 100% on getting them yet. The shop had no issues mounting the tires up, and didn't mention anyting about them not fitting on the stock wheels. I would eventually like to get FGhey Cruiser wheels as they are 17's. But if I do get them I will HAVE to get the wheel spacers....so.....

*sigh* Yeah, I realized that after I posted. One of the downsides of reading this board at work is I'm usually rushed and don't notice things until after the fact.

Thank you. But it wont be red for too much longer. I'm planning making it a deep green, with black line-x following the body lines over the fenders.

devegonz's FJ60 here is bascially what my finished product willl hopefully look like.

That's Princess isn't it?

Love that color, I will say though (my 2 cents) that taking the line-x up to the upper body-line of the front fender is not my cup of tea....

I'll be blacking out my grill and head light bezels. and I want to carry that look all the way around.

to each his own. ;)

I've got one of Brian's 5.3, waiting in my shop, for my 55 to get ready. So I'm really interested in your fuel pump. Could you post the model number. Also with the 4 inch lift, how close are you now, to the oilpan. I'm thinking of going to the Camaro pan.

Good Job, you made it look too easy! :)

So the fuel pump that Bryan recomends is the cheapist (which is what he really helps people acheive) but it is a giant POS. Yes the Trick Flow Specialties TFS-25004P. is a good price but like I said it was very loud and if your on a very strict budget it will work.

I was not happy with it so I ran with the Airtex 110-E8445. It's $108.95, so only $24.00 difference. Plus it's much quieter and flows amazingly.

As for distance between the oil pan and the front diff....there is plenty of room between the pumpkin and the pan. But the drive shaft is unfortunetly closer than I would like. I dont have my front drive shaft in right now as I need to get it lengthed because of the lift. Here's some pics for a visual reference. The only thing I had for some sort of size reference was this water bottle. lol

Thanks Nick,

I would rather spend the money, on something that is going to work, than maybe not.

What filter and reg. setup, did you use.

On the transmission, I'm useing the H55, so shouldn't be a problem, but the 55's have a height issue with the 5.3. Good to know your lift was enough to solve the problem.

I am running the filters that Bryan had recomended. They are good quality and very easy to access.

Pre-pump --> Russell Performance 645120 - Russell Billet Aluminum Street Fuel Filters

Post-pump --> Summit Racing SUM-G1512 - Summit Racing® Chrome Fuel Filters

My engine had a built in pressure regulator in the fuel rail so I didn't need to run an external one.

Before the lift I only had maybe 1" between the pumpkin and the bottom of the pan. The lift was a must. I probably could have gotten away with a 2" lift and the F body oil pan. But....why lift 2 when you can do 4? ;)

Got the bumper finished up and mounted today. I'm very happy with it.

Hey, I met you on the Seven Mile Creek trail today. It looked like the "Therapy" was working great. You did a great job on that truck, nice job on that bumper.

I was driving the silver and grey two tone 62 with the diamond Rax. It was a good day on the trail.
