Sliders are done. The bolt-on route was probably a bit more time consuming than just welding them on, but I'm happy with the results and with the ability to remove them to repair, repaint, etc.

I already scuffed the paint off in a few places during install :( I don't know what it is about bedliner, it takes forever to set up and become durable.

For the Safari snorkel, it is necessary to melt and re-shape the snorkel to accommodate the power antenna (Aussies have the antenna on the other side). I was happy that the Ironman fit with only a tiny trim to the rubber boot around the antenna base:

Cool! Why don't you pull her into the driveway and get some pics. The close-ups are nice, but I want to see her in all of her glory!!!

I took the Frank for a test drive to Sonic to get the kiddo some dessert, so I snapped a shot of the truck per your request:

Frank's really looking good man! Just need to ditch those flares. ;)

Thanks! But you know I love my flares:deadhorse:

No more big projects for a while. Time to just wheel and maintain for a while...Maybe get the garage cleaned up and allow the wife to reclaim her half.

HA! Man, if you haven't figured it out by now, I can beat a dead horse better than anyone... As long as I still get a chuckle out of it. ;)

Fixed it for you. :grinpimp:

I'm curious to see how well the bolts will hold on a hard hit to the sliders.
Cruiser is looking great!

FWIW, My Slee sliders are bolted on the same way and I've abused the heck out of then... no moment in the sliders position at all.

Right on. I was just wondering.
I was thinking that they would/could slide a little if there was enough weight on one.

Mine are from White Knuckle and bolt up the same way as his basically. I've dropped my rig onto the rails and driver side skids several times. No issues so far. Just some scratches.

There's times I wish I would have built mine more like the Frank. Not that I don't like my whale and what it can do though.

Put a lunchbox in the rear end and you'd be set for most anything Andrew.

There is a little room for the u-bolts to slide up/down on the frame, so I slid them to the upmost positionwhen I built and mounted the sliders. I don't think that they would move anyway.

I "stole" the idea from Slee. Mine has more bolts, though at 5/side. I think it will be OK.
