The Stupid Question of the Day Thread

All of the other forums have a ‘SQOTD’ thread and I searched and didn’t see a specific thread so maybe this can serve as the place to ask those quick questions.

I’lI start. I am taking my wheels off to sand them down/prime/paint and realized my lugs are 19mm on all 5 wheels (including the spare). If I’m not mistaken they should be 21mm, correct? 1964 FJ, but with wheels with the hubcaps.

Are they typically open-ended lugs all the way around or just on the fronts? I will likely change them out so when I get the Toyota lug wrench it will all match/work. Just wanted to verify.

Yep, all should be an open end 21mm. Still available from Toyota and venders here on Mudd.

E-63/64 were the larger lugnuts... if your truck is actually a 63´ and titled in 64' it could have come with the larger lugnuts... 23mm

BTW you have the later rims that are welded... 64' would have had the riveted rims... don´t know how exact your going.... just thought id throw that out there

Thanks for that info. I’ll likely just keep the 19mm on there and put a different lug wrench in there.
