3 of 4 corners lifted now. (belton for a 55 on front, OME for a 60 on the rear) I thought I would have to modify the spring packs for the back, but I turns out when I moved the perches on the axle, I added a new centering hole to work with the off-center pin location on the 60 springs. Yay me!

Down the road I'd like to open up the rear wheel wells and shift the axle back, but this will do for now.

Steering shaft extended to suit PS gearbox and in.

Three little pigs...

Starting to get a little bit done again. Working on shift linkages for the transfer. Hydraulic cylinder tab + bronze bushing + old tire iron for the front drive shift. Still need to make a nice contoured piece to mate with the slot on the front housing shift rod.

Finally picked up some C25 so I can use MIG rather than flux-core. :)

I like the tire iron option.... classy....

I know what the ladies like...... I just don't offer it

What's the proposed, guesstimate for registration date on this thing? It's super sweet! Pig envy.

2 or 3 days before CCC? It's a good tradition....

I shouldn't have to worry about work getting in the way, just need to keep motivated.

I like your schedule. It's the sole reason why my wiring is a birds nest.

More scrap pile fab for high-low shifter. Will run a rod forward to a lever, then another back from that to the shift arm on the case (roughly like the setup in the last pic).

More slow progress. Front lever for the high-low shift linkage is scabbed together and loosely in place. Next up the rods.

Rods modified and in. Next up the stalks that will poke through the tranny hump.

Starting to play the "how will I piece this back together" game.

Started tacking in place. Will need to pull the drivetrain to fill the gaps in. Happy it seems to be going together fairly easily, sheet metal work is new to me and a bigger mental hurdle than any structural or mechanical work.

Thats beauty. Don't forget to weld a cup holder in while you have the seats out! Put it on a gyro so its fully articulating while you are wheeling...

That's a really good idea! It might be easy to crotch your beer, but coffee is a little higher stakes.

that looks great Curt, I'm betting you get the hang of sheet metal quickly. I learned with a little time and a flapper weheel you can make pretty nice work in a short time frame. Card stock type paper works great for templating too.
