Grill is in, front axle swapped from Wobble, working at shock towers now. Have sleeves that will bolt to the frame for now, may weld them on later as long as I'm happy with them after some use. These bases and the towers may become part of tube fenders or reinforcement of the stock fenders later.

Towers

Initially they'll have posts attached partway up to work with the lower shock mounts on the FJ62 spring plates. When I work over the axle and add knuckle ball gussets (with lower mount incorporated) I'll move the upper mount to the top of the tower..

Working on the bracket / spacer / bell-crank for the booster and master.

Bracket aspect done, need to do the bell-crank / linkage and add a strut down to the fender to take the leverage off of the firewall.

I think I'll be able to add more reinforcement up top now (I still have finishing off to do once I have shocks in hand), certainly can when I move the shock and weld them in. Thanks for the advice that I should go stouter.

Nice work on the booster relocate! Going to build a swing arm to translate the motion or some other craftiness .

Yup. Swing arm, bell crank, pivot doohicky. Not sure best thing to call it, but should get it done tonight and pics up.

Wow Curtis, you must be some kind of engineer, good job!

I tend to overbuild things, which is why I suggested keeping an eye on it to see if it is strong enough. If it was me, it would be 3x as heavy as what you have there.

Still been plugging away. Brake swing arm dealio is getting paint, got new belts for the engine, got some shocks. The shocks have 1/2" ID steel inserts in the bushings that I thought would be easy to press out to suit the pins on the pig, but they seem to be fused with the bushing material... so that's going to be a pain..

Working tonight on brackets to attach the driver's seat.

Looks wicked. Some torch to steel inserts or new shock bushings?

Letting it sit on the back burner for right now. Thinking I'll see if different bushings are easy to come by when I'm in town...

Seems good. :) Need to prep the floor and tack the mounts down now.

After much swearing at the bushings, the shocks are in. Wire harness to the back is in and lights all work after some troubleshooting. Brake plumbing is well on its way, need to pick up a few more lengths of hard line to finish off.... working towards a safety inspection booked for Thursday.
