some more adjustments to be made and then that is it. once completed i will post up more detailed pics but you get the idea ...
thanks

Hey gbentink, where did you get your pillar mount for your guages? I like that

Wayne, I note that the intercooler you show is toward the rear of the motor... is there some reason for this other than to allow more room front for some other "thing" that will mount there....

thanks ozwallaby, good question.

oil changes come to mind ...
there is very little to access at the rear portion of the engine and that is why i located it there. i had considered locating it off the side slightly but in the end i wanted it centered over the engine so the hood scoop will also be centered.
the air flow over the hood was another consideration i was working with.

Very nice. What kit is that? And what scoop is that?

It wasnt actually a kit, i just went to a auto store that sells intercoolers and silicone pipes with an idea of how it should look, bought what i thought i might need and then went home and started putting the puzzle together. I only had to go back once to change a pipe. Made the mounting brackets myself and to join it to the manifold , i cut the original intake pipe ( the one that says turbo on it ) in half and joined the silicon pipe to it. The IC is 380mm x 420mm x 70mm and it seems to be workin pretty well so far. As for the scoop, it was a cheap fake one which was actually closed in the front to start. I cut the opening in the front myself and then reinforced it underneath with 3mm flat bar. The flat bar also gives it the same curvature as the hood.
The scoop is 620mm x 620mm hence the reason for mounting the windscreen washers on top of it. That size also puts the intake up in the "high pressure zone"
