Bought it a week ago and went out of town for work. Got to drive to see three of the kids I coach shoot in the state skeet championship. 7th, 12th and 16th.
Off all week and will dig into tie rods, selling 2 sets of factory wheels, and a couple of other things while figuring out which wheels and tires I want.

holy moly. what would make it fail this catastrophically? Even if the preload was way off it shouldn't burn up like that. Not enough grease?
I've had mixed experiences with Top Shop. You should send them that pic.
We wheel together at least monthly. Both are originally from out of this area. Who knows? We may get another.

Spent last Sunday at Prairie City OHV here in Sacramento CA area with a half dozen friends. I was the only LC series vehicle with the group. Nice place, majority of it is motocross but for 4x4 there are lots of different man made obstacles of varying difficulty. The 4x4 area also has an "open track" that you can haul ass around so we set up a timed loop. I did not win, lol...

That's amazingly low milage for a 22 year old truck - comes to about 2500 miles a year, or app. 250 miles a month. Beautiful vehicle you are a lucky man can't imagine what it cost but must not have been cheap.
