How are the roads doing out there did you go in through Steele pass/eureka sand dunes?
In South Pass out North Pass. A week later in and out North Pass. Much rougher than usual. I heard conflicting reports regarding condition of Steele Pass, so didn't try it.

Cruiser patiently waiting for house projects to come to a stop for some mountian adventures. It's been a good sport about doing daily duty during hail season and not getting an awning or fridge because of other expenses..

How much tire pressure were you running? Doesn't Ocracoke require 20lbs or less?
15psi and it ran like a tank! The Park Service has to cater to the lowest common denominator of folks so they have all sorts of rules. You have to have a offroad permit of course. Free air fill-ups at Tradewinds Tackles right off the beach. (small donation recommended)
