Please replace the roller with one of these Slee - Winches

That roller on that bumper is stressing me out haha
If he still has a steel winch cable, it will slice through that aluminum Slee fairlead in no time.

very true,you can use a steel hawse fairlead with cable but a roller is the way to go.

@krice118 Ya unfortunately it is a steel cable so I can't have one of the cool Slee fairleads like others have said, but I plan on switching to synthetic, then getting the pretty Slee fairlead and a Factor 55 link. The roller lead has taken a little bit of a beating, mud sucks :flipoff2:

I just arrived back from Sweden/Norway, I've been there for two weeks.

The most northern place I visited was Nystad in Norway. A little above the arctic circle.

Here's a pic of my Cruiser in the city (Strömsund, Sweden):

I ran the General Grabber AT2 tires (in the front, AT in the back). They were great in the snow.

Nice! Info on the winch setup/mount?

I'm new to the 100, sold my 80 and bought a 2006 with 195K miles on it a couple month ago. Liking it

I've also got a nice picture of the "LED" lights. You'll find the original picture in this thread post #132.

How about some more info on the lights you are using? I am ready to copy your set up to the finest detail to get light output like that. WOW! Great job man, what a cool picture as well.

@REZARF I will make a build thread and I'll discuss all my mods there.

I have had a lot of people ask about the lights, they are actually not that expensive. Just make sure you use good cables & low resistance oversized relays to get the max out of them.

But for now some quick info. I used the cheap chinese "LED" lights (aka ARB Intensity Knockoff).
They were much better than I expected for this price, much better.

I did some measurements on power consumption and temperature. You can find them in this thread.

My posts in this thread (till now):
#103 - Unboxing, Power consumption at 11.9V and 13.4V;
#108 - What's in the box, How do the parts align and a quick picture of the beam;
#112 - My (not 100% accurate) heat test;
#121 - The lights I bought;
#132 - Picture of mounted lights, Picture across water +/- 200m / yards.
More to come...

The only thing is that I am starting to see small rust spots on the brackets (no big problem oil or paint them). I will report back on that, somewhere...

Yves, do you carry a Glass break device in the event you are submerged? I’m curios us how common that is in Holland.
Dank u wel
