Finished up installing new bumper and winch on Friday and first thing Saturday morning I headed to Wyoming to give it a good shake down on some bumpy dirt roads and do a little fishing.

The bumper didn't fall off

and the fishing wasn't half bad

top it off with a night slept in a hammock next to my favorite river and it was a pretty successful weekend.

3 days, 2 nights on the WABDR. My wife drives with my kids in the back, and all our stuff, and I ride my motorcycle. Often we bring along a guest or two. She's a good driver, and enthusiastic.

This week I put on some BIO sliders and removed the AHC accumulator and globes. The accumulator was a beast to get off, the bolt on top of the frame would not budge, so I had to get creative with a dremel tool and luckily the U bolts didn't get hung up on that bolt when I lined the sliders up. Very very happy with the quality and toughness of the sliders. Also, they are surprisingly more stealth than I thought they would be. They look gorgeous on the rig, but I doubt an unknowing bystander would even notice them

Took mine out this weekend fully loaded with sleeping platform, gear, 2 coolers with ice/food/beer, water, firewood. Stock LC suspension components, and it looks alright by my estimation. I would say with everything it ended up approximately "level"--or at least handled well! Just an absolute pleasure to drive. Sure, she's no racecar up the hills but that engine just. keeps. pulling. I love it.
