100 put to good use

1998 UZJ100. A442F transmission. VX Limited spec. Japan Domestic Market model. Towing a 8400 lbs (3810 Kg) boat and trailer in Sri Lanka.

I see you have those side bars up front that the Aussies seem to like so much. (Not that I ever understood that.) Are those helping much in real forests?

I have seen those damage multiply on a friends 100. The bar just pushed into the fender. Maybe if it had bracing over the bonnet or something.

The arb versions like above are fairly thin gauge metal. I have a custom set built that are welded across the rear and front wheel arches to the sliders and bolted to bumper. The clamps arb uses to attach to the bullbar are pretty weak in comparison, although the design is good to transition items from the bumper to the wheel arch slider.
