I'm going to have the same problem once my 275/70-18 BFG AT's are mounted up, kinda sorta. The 100 will fit in the garage with the Thule crossbars, but not with the Thule case. We usually load the 100 in the garage before a big trip—the last two trips it was raining when we left. It's going to suck loading the 100 outside, especially if it's raining.

Here's a shot of me mocking up the 275/70-18's. Mmmm, meaty.

I have the exact same rig as you, down to the color, and those are the exact same tires I'm about to buy. I'm assuming those are rated 'E'?

Could you possibly post some detailed pics when you have them mounted? As well as how the ride is compared to your street tires? I'm a little concerned about putting the 'E' rated tires on my daily driver...interested in what impact they have on the ride.

Thanks in advance!

How do you like your Yakima roof rack? Wind noise OK?

I love the Yak rack. I haven't loaded it up on the LX yet but have used the same rack on a couple other of my vehicles. The wind noise is actually very minimal w/ the fairing on the front. Ideally I'd like a MegaWarrior which is wider and/or to get the extension for this one for more space. They are hard to beat for the price.

I have a 21 cubic' Thule cargo box that I actually use more frequently for road trips, snowboarding trips, etc. Having the stuff under hard cover is nice!

May aswell trow a couple of pictures up of my beast.

Seriously nice ride GT!

No shyte! I was about to respond similarly. Ditto that for Paul's white SAS 100! Speaking of that: It sure would be nice to see some more photos gracing these pages!

No need to ship from AU. Just take your LC to any local fabrication shop and have them custom made. They usually run half what an ARB would cost here in the states. I'm seriously considering this route myself...
