Yesterday I joined a group from Northwest Overland Society and we journeyed the historic Naches Wagon Trail. This trail was used in the 1800's by settlers coming from the midwest to the new Oregon territory. Some really cool history, scenery, and good wheelin on the trip!

No need to ship from AU. Just take your LC to any local fabrication shop and have them custom made. They usually run half what an ARB would cost here in the states. I'm seriously considering this route myself...

I got a quote for a tube bumper at a local fab shop, they said that due to the size of the LC, the starting price starts at $1100, which is why I couldnt pass up the deal for a $500 TJM that require about $11 to make it look new again:D

Well I will let you know soon enough. Initial word is around $400-600 here locally for a front or rear tube bumper.

Anthony - I'll have to hook up with you sometime once I at least get a lift on. You look like you've found some great spots in the NW! Nice Pics!

^^Hear that. Need to also.
Edited to add photos of SW Idaho (still considered NW too:D)

I'd love to get a 100 LC wheelin trip going in the PNW. Let's do that next summer for sure! I know tons of places on the east side of the cascade mountains if people don't mind driving that far.

An RTT and no drive is too far! Well, as long as the wife approves. :)

talk to MetalTech...he is doing them for FJC and a couple others...might do it for your rig too. Mark is one of the owners...great guy and very knowledgeable. That is who I would ask especially if it was going to be done custom.

In. with 100 pix to be edited into this as soon as I go downstairs and get my camera.

Dude, who are you? You're everywhere! You're living the Land Cruiser fantasy we all dream of. Well, the LX fantasy. If I touch your head will a little bit of the magic rub off?

Obligatory Pic:
