Nah, the 43 is too long for carry on. I guess I should have gotten another 40, they'll almost fit in the overhead bin.

Those LED strips would be cool if you could use a rheostat to control the brightness. The 60 series dash rheostat would work on standard incandescent lamps. But with the wide range of voltage LEDs work with would need a special LED strip to do that.
I would probably add a pre 9/73 room light switch in the dash instead of the passenger B pillar. Somewhere in the center of dash would be easier for drive to use than B pillar if he needed to do while driving. I have thought about installing a switch on the right side ambulance door.
I have a wide range of music I listen too. Rap is not one of them. No Bluetooth or down loaded music for me. I almost feel like cheating using CD. My CD collection numbers in the hundreds. Our 21 GX is probably the newer vehicle I will ever own. CD players are gone. 21 was the last year that doesn't have what looks tablet on the dash. Getting audio equal to the Mark Levinson in a 40 series would hard to do. One of the biggest challenges is where to mount a external amplifier in a 1/79 and newer 40 series.
