You're not supposed to cut the leads!! Also, did you install a ground on the motor for the tiny tach through its harness?

Yes. Installed ground. There was no cutting of the lead that runs to the engine for the transducer or ground. It's just run thru the lamp hole in the gauge box

I don't remember these two wires coming from TinyTach without connectors. They all had those small circular connectors, no?

EDIT: Wait, those were probably power. Nevermind

Little grey is power and ground. I actually read the direction first this time. Nice people at Tiny Tach said if I'm getting back light (which I was) and no numbers on the lcd then the head is a bad unit.

Also the space on either side of the transducer is correct per TT
