It’s been a busy week

. I have been chasing an oil leak that was really difficult to find . It was not a bad leak but I don’t want any leaks . The problem was it was coming from the rear area of the engine . And only when I would drive it. And then it would just make the transmission wet . I changed the valve cover gaskets nope not that . I pulled the distributor and made sure somehow I did not forget the gasket . Nope not that . I pulled the oil sender and redid that . I think It may have been leaking a little. Maybe

. But nope still after a drive I would get a some oil

. So Monday night I decided I was not going to have any drips and pulled everything apart

. I was able to fix the leak


. . Now that that was fixed I set my sights on getting the speedo to work

. 4 days of calling Dakota . And almost giving up on it. I finally got
A tech that told me what I needed to do

. So on mine I had to go find a mile marker and do a calibration. Once I did this my speedo started working

. It is dead on accurate

. Now everything works Even my odometer . Of coarse it came down to the night before my Season kicks off as I am heading to Moab tonite after work

. I have some things I am going to change but that stuff can wait . I want to make a custom center council. I don’t mind the tuffy but I want a custom interior now . But for now I am just really happy that everything works. It has way more than enough power

the Atlas is cool. And we are going to have a great wheeling season. I have a lot of trail time planned .
