Finished the ahc fluid change. Set to L. Followed the reservoir empty then refill, followed by set to N. Then bled front left then right. Rear left then right.

There was 2.3 liter in the tank on initial L. It takes 1 liter to reach max on an empty tank, and it starts to overflow around 2.5 liter.
I took about four liters out and put about 3.5 in. Right now it's just over the max line on N.

Cycles up and down fine. The first H was really high.

Haven't driven round much to see how the ride has changed.

My old fluid looked pretty good, only a bit darker than new. Still somewhat transparent.

That has been changed recently. Mine was black.

Yeah I was glad and sad. Glad it had been done (probably 35k ago at the 180k service) and sad I wasn’t getting all the use from it. 100 series recommend 30k anyhow, so probably time better sooner than later.

Finally got the zerk at the u joint at the back of the front driveshaft. Also hit the front and back slip joints again. Went out and did the stop and start wearin. I am hoping his completes the driveline greasing for a while.

This thread is just what I needed to see! Great stuff- made even better by the fact that you guys are like my neighbors, @grinchy and @tbisaacs ! I’m brand new here, trying to pick up whatever I can as I search for a 200 or a 570. Seems like more used 570s than 200s around these parts.
I’m too new for PMs, and don’t want to make 10 BS posts just to earn the access, so I’m hoping to be able to connect eventually with some local members to help me evaluate potential purchase material.
Meantime I am really enjoying this thread. Keep it up, sir.

Welcome! Drop in here if you haven’t already:

We are overdue for a meet and greet!

I have my very own C0210.

Isn't it cute:mad:

I ordered one of these
89516-60130
Which I think is the rear speed sensor wire. It is called "skid control" wire.

Will do! Thanks. (Also- your rig looks sweet. Saw it in the picture thread. I hope you got the best of them at NWMS)

Replaced the right hand rear speed sensor. It had quite a bit of heavy grease on it with a pungent, might I say diff oil type smell. I had already scheduled the rear bearing work. I'm wondering if this could be why my rear diff was 1.5 quarts low - it's weeping thru the rear wheel bearings?

In any case the C0210 will not be denied. The next action is to replace the rear abs wiring harness. That or there is so much gunk on the speed ring in on the axle that it can't read it.

Next week The Guzzler is headed up to JustDifferentials to get rear bearings, front axles, 4.88 gears, and a rear elocker. I'm pretty much settled on 285/75r18 Ridge Grapplers as the next tire; will roll the 275/65r18 Duratracs for a few more miles as I work thru the break-in on the diff gears.

I am hopeful that the rear bearing replacement resolves the C0210 code I have right now. Also hopeful if that corner is really disintegrating/disintegrated that I can make it over the pass to Cashmere to get the work done.

Have the rig back from JustDifferentials. They did a great job, and the place is littered with show rigs. Very cool. The sound of silence with all new bearings is really something to behold. Ran into a bit of weather coming back over Steven's Pass.

The ABS Sensor error C0210 was indeed due to a disintegrated rear wheel bearing. It resolved itself upon replacement.

I'm still in the break-in period and driving full granny style, but I think the review of 4.88s is going to be very positive. With 32" tires the rpm at 65mph is 2000.

My elocker isn't powered up yet, but I expect no issues, just have to hook it up to my bluetooth relay, the wire was run up to the engine bay for me. Went with the Auburn part. It has a full diameter carrier.

Hooked up the Auburn elocker today. Two wires. I went with black to negative. Nope!
Will have to swap polarity over the weekend.

Fancy Pic Auburn on right. I assume Harrop on left.
