I just swapped out a set of 31x10.5 R15 MTs for 33x9.5 R15 RTs... one of my main concerns was snow. The Mt's were worthless, unless you wanted to go sideways. The difference is dramatic. They definitely qualify as pizza cutters.

I went the other way - had 235/85-16s, went to 31/10.5-15 mainly for the ride. My back was last link in the suspension with the 16s, 15s rode much nicer. Most offroad work I do over here is in soft stuff aired down to 20 or so psi, was told to be careful with tall skinny tubeless tyres, easy to pop a bead off the rim. Not prepared to go back to tubes
