Congrats!
Regarding wheels, if it's a manual 35" fits the gearing perfectly IMOP.. I run 35/12.5R15 on mine...

So, after days of wiring I think I have finally got things the way I want. Out with the old Japanese speaking nav system and in with the new!! I also replaced the HUGE converter with a much smaller and powerful one (yay technology!).

The converter tucked away next to the passenger seat (bolted to the frame of the seat, but will not rub!)

New 12 volt fuse block installed in the passenger foot well. I would have liked to put it elsewhere, but this is what worked. I wired the fuse block so it would turn on with the accessory on the ignition.

The new headunit!! I went with a Pioneer AVH-X3700BHS. The wife has the older unit (3500) and we really like it. The BT is nice, and the satellite radio is great!

Cool, what converter is that?

I'm also looking into doing a 2 din stereo, was your previous a 1 or 2 din?
It's probably a slight difference in the dash , or did you just trim it in there?

Congrats on a cool rig, welcome to the HJ61 club of awsomeness! :-D

Nice! I love the 33x10.5 on my 70 series….Lets see some cable locker photo porn!!

The converter is a Pyle 30 amp. The previous stereo was also a double din and the new one bolted in with no trim needed.

What would you like to see kind sir?? Lol

The levers! The levers are where its at! We don't need no stinking switches!

. I figure the narrower tire will help with the mileage and maybe a little with the power.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I may be wrong, (according to my wife I often am) but I was under the impression that tire width played little to no role in fuel economy. Tire "height" however plays a large role.

I wish FJ62s in the US got that nifty wraparound one-piece front bumper (no rubber end caps) - it looks right, on that rig. Drool. Nice truck!

Yep, that is them! Is that a new cover I see in the background??!! I need one of them!! Are they really still available? I thought they would have been long gone by now!
