I'm sure....and there is one local to me for sell with 5 shots through it.
Pesky budgets :D

Allen, you could always buy it "for" her :D

Couple of my favorites:
Barnes Precision CQB 5.56 in the safe stand
HK usp-c .45 acp for the nightstand
sig p238 .380 for the waistband

wish list:
oh where to start, or more accurately where to stop ;)
as always decisions swayed by great deals
2-3'' Revolver next... S&W or Ruger (lcr or sp-101 without the fugly grips) in .357 most likely
Remington 870 police trade in although the 1100/1187 is tempting
Sig220
Kiimber procarry II (or dan wesson custom if I win the lottery) just want my 1911 back
and an AKM and .308 bolt action would seem to round out the collection nicely

I like the Ruger SP101 better than the Smith for 357 concealed carry. The Smith J frame is too light and flippy and hand-hurty, the K frame is too big and heavy. The SP has the underlug barrel and heavy front strap, quickshoots a lot more accurately. I bought a pair of fake pearl grip inserts that look real snappy lol.
They also have a great design for tearing down, cleaning, honing.

I had a Mossberg 500, I like my 870 a lot better and slightly used it's about the same price as the Mossberg new. The Rem is just heavier duty and the safety is in a more sensible place.

After a number of Glock and other 'modern' pistols I came back to the 1911. It always point-n-shots better for me than any other. Thanks to Cruiser obsession (Jeremy wanted some parts for his) I lucked out on a cherry CDP Ultra Kimber.
I also have a Taurus 1911 ALR w/ a Streamlight TLR3 for nightstand which I am totally happy about for a full-size 1911.
I also have the Sig P238 mouse gun, even tiny the 1911 geometry shoots better than any other mouse guns I have. Great with a pocket holster.

For no apparent reason I bought Brock's Browning A-bolt 300 WinMag so I'm covered for high-power rifle along with various others in the safe. It shoots better than I ever will.

There are others but these are my go-to items.

Glad you are still enjoying that Kimber. I just recently acquired back my first 1911 that I had to sell to help with a downpayment on my house. It a Kimber Pro Carry II. Hopefully it will never leave me again. It will be my sons gun one day. Love it! Never let me down, points straight without even thinking about it, trigger breaks like glass. Love me some 1911 goodness.

Jeremy

Yeah the SP is a major improvement in design, I love the way you can take apart the firing mechanism so easily. My trigger (non I tried) was not as nice as my Smiths' but with that design it was easy to get inside for a little light honing and after a few hundred snaps it came around pretty well.
I like the hammer so if I take an aimed shot I can single-action it.
We have a S&W 642 with the concealed hammer I bought for the :princess:'s purse.

I also have a S&W 4" Model 65* 357 which I love to shoot but it is a little bulky for light carry. The trigger is like glass a glass rod as they say. It is a lot easier to shoot double action than the Ruger because of the great trigger and generally more mass and size.
*SS version of the Model 13 Military and Police Magnum, mine is probably a retired Highway Patrol weapon.

Since threads are useless without pics here's a quick shot of the G23 on the hood of the 80. :flipoff2:

If anyone is looking to sell anything PM me. Had some lovely people pop a couple shots off at each other down the street so we are now looking for something when our taxes come in. Don't have a ton to spend though.

That's just unreal Al. It didn't look like a bad neighborhood at all.

Nice looking AR there Jon!

Hey man, can you give me a call, or shoot me a text? Your PM inbox is full.

Overall it isn't. But its a far cry from living in ballantyne or south park. I seem to live in the ghetto part of the neighborhood (maybe because it is detached from the main part?>) Most likely because a lot of the houses went unsold with the crunch or were foreclosed on so a bunch of "welfare" families moved in. It has gotten a ton better since we moved in though and this is the first time something like that has happened but still makes you angry non the less.... Oh well always nice talking to about 10 different officers at 5AM

i keep a Glock 27 with me everyday of my life. I used to have several AR's including a BPM as well as others, several different glocks etc. Unfortunately I lost my entire Gun collection in a "boating accident"

Added my first scattergun to the stable today. :D

MossbergCombo.jpg

Mossberg 500 Field/Security Combo. Came with a 28" ported vent rib barrel and an 18.5" barrel and pistol grip kit.

Ahhhh, the old Mossy 500. That and the Rem 870 are the best shotguns for the money.

A few weeks ago, I picked up a Ruger Number 1 in 45-70 for a steal at a local gub store. Gonna go throw some 405gr down range this afternoon.:grinpimp:
