Sound logic there, LOL.

Good luck against L-M this weekend. You must be proud they are mentioned here:

Tammy's weak a** OOC scheduling didn't do much for you down the stretch last year. Hope this one isn't the same. ;)

we need a new rule in the Great Football thread......... I think if your team doesn't win over the weekend you have to keep your mouth shut until they do win again...... only the victors should get the "limelight" :grinpimp:

.......... remind me Andy how did that wake forest game go?? :flipoff2:

That doesn't sound like much fun! That would mean you and Richard would have had to be quiet and not post from last Thanksgiving until last night!!! :grinpimp:

obviously this rule is intend only for regular season play............. once bowl games and preseason start anything goes

and if I remember correctly you would have been silent for the first 9 months of the year as well :D

OK, making up rules as we go. I like that approach. :D

Then I'll utilize the Atlantic Coast Conference Champion clause that overrides silence after any loss - especially a BCS bowl loss. :D

I think you shouldnt be allowed to talk if your excuse for losing is that you lost your overrated sophomore QB because he doesnt know how to slide then even when your backup comes in and goes 17 for 23 for 130yds and a touchdown you still lose. But that didnt happen to anybody this week did it?

Who mentioned any kind of excuse??? Who mentioned anything about the QB???

Also, who complained about the performance of our backup QB??

You must be reading a different thread than me...

That was last yr is no longer applies this is a new season, and your 0-1

Ha, good one. According to that logic no Clemson fans could talk about the fluke that was 1982 and you would all come back to earth and come to the realization that Clemson football is mediocre at best and you could save yourselves lots of heartache, pain and agony before your hopes and dreams are unnecessarily crushed each and every football season due to your mass delusion. :grinpimp:

Is no fluke when you have one of the most amazing defenses in college football history and we all know defense wins championships.

LOL, good stuff. The season is young.

Nothing like starting 7-1 and then losing your last 4 out of 5. :grinpimp:

Lots of football to play my friend. I am more disappointed in our injuries than losing a tough one on the road against a quality opponent.

Need I remind you again who Duke's last victory came against before 21 in a row???? :flipoff2:

Looks like you directly mentioned injuries that would be an excuse. I just extrapolated it to what you were actually thinking the one key injury.

Spurrier mentioned improving tackling at least a half dozen times during his news conference and noted the sound defensive play during Clemson's 24-18 win over Florida State on Monday night.

"Those were two teams flying around, going crazy on defense," Spurrier said. "If we can get to that level defensively, shoot yeah, we can talk about an SEC (title) seriously instead of maybe just dreaming about it.

Keep on dreaming Gamecock fans.

No excuses there my friend. Re-read and take your time. ;) We lost the game fair and square and got beat by the better team that day.

I mentioned injuries because they are disappointing and no Riley's isn't the most important and no this isn't new to us. See every game last season.

Again, re-read and don't put words into my mouth. :D

Actually I would need to bring up that championship in order to defend the superlative tradition that is Clemson football from a detractor who makes comments like that one. Or I could bring up things our 3 hall of fame coaches, John Heisman, Jess Neely, and Frank Howard and what about multi sport first team all americans like Banks McFadden. Thats tradition that sets us above mediocre. Mediocre could better be defined as being on the losing end of 55-16-1 record versus a team its funny hows thats Clemson vs Wake Forests record all time. Thats a .222 winning percentage. :flipoff2:

It gets boring using your own arguments against you.

Part of my joy after winning the conference championship in JAX last year was you having to deal with all it all this year and not being able to change it with your mindless blather, stats and flip flop rhetoric. :grinpimp:

So  for WFU football - the CURRENT, REIGNING ACC CHAMPIONS. :flipoff2:

I have this reoccuring vision of a team putting up about 500 yards of O
on that "mighty" CU defense.
31-28
New rule ...STFU on the smack about your rival when you LOST to them
in your last meeting. Geesh.

If the mushrooms smell like cow patties don't put them in the stroganoff.
That will stop those 'visions'.
