The Great Cruiser Parts Link Thread

Not a parts link, but a tool source link.
I have found that sometimes an oddball tool is needed to get a job done or at least make it a lot easier on the knuckles.
These also aren't japanese car oriented and aren't cheap, but they are available, for you, to discern whether or not you want to purchase and keep in your tool box.

About 1/3 of the links are no longer valid. Also Partsgeeks has enough bad reviews I would delete them as an option

Hey guys, Im hoping there is another thread with parts information.

I have a 1980 BJ40 that has a blown head gasket. Not only do I need the head gasket but since the motor is going to be broken down, I'd like to replace these parts:

1. head gasket
2. water pump w/ gaskets
3. Injectors
4. Therostat (plus housing, gaskets, upper and lower?)
5. Fuel rail?

Does anyone have a lead on where I could find these parts? Even internationally. No one in the U.S. seems to have them. Or good part number that I could try and cross-reference? I believe my car was manufactured on 7/11/80.

Thanks in advance.

Cruiser outfitters might have a gasket kit. Radd Cruisers should have everything else you need or everything else you need. RADD Cruisers Online Store - https://www.shopraddcruisers.ca/

This is a super old thread. I made it way back in the day.

Honestly… that’s a better survival rate than most FJ40 sheetmetal.

Half those vendors probably retired, the other half got bought by a guy parting out lawn tractors, and whatever’s left now 404s faster than a rusty rear sill.

At this point, clicking an old Cruiser link is like archaeology as you’re just hoping to uncover a working website and not another broken Photobucket image.
