Boys she is still a better deal than our "friends" (And I use that term loosely) to the north of us!!!
Currently headed to the Black Hills Cruiser Classic in Deadwood SD. Somebody post up for us, and tell them we will be there about 9pm and is there a good spot to put a 80 foot rig?

We also need seats for wheeling, as all of our junk is kinda battle weary! We have very poor cell service here In Northern Montana

I was just on the phone with Roger when he yells" oh crap I just blew a tire , talk to ya later" and he hung up. So I guess they are on the side of road somewhere near miles city Montana.

Sounds like just the latest in an ongoing saga of troubles, guess they should've stayed home. 
Sounds like a great time !!!!!! I'd love to be there slapping a new tire on and keeping it moving

They should have that changed faster than a NASCAR pit crew.
Me an' BillRiiiley were on the north loop of I-40 in Memphis, coming back from Hot Springs (Razorback Ramble or Cruiser Crawl), and in the worst possible part of town we come across Roger, riding solo and with a blown trailer tire, on the shoulder of the interstate. Donks and hoopties were flying by left and right.
Luckily for us he was just cleaning up and putting away the tools.

tire blow-out saga hits everyone with a trailer I guess.... I've been there....got to meet a fine guy in the great community of Hollywood AL...who offered to help but who I never turned my back on....his helping was watching me and talking to his invisible friends. He did let me borrow his pickup tire jack after the bottle jack I had failed, it worked and so I was good, after saying a few good words and fighting that jack for 30mins. If the new 12ton napa bottle jack fails I'm going to take a sledgehammer to it so I'll feel good about the situation 
Dry Rot and Over loading is the top spots for trailer tire blow outs .

how about a few details on road trip up and back so those of us can live and learn..
Path taken, drive and camp or what (on the way out and back). Lessons learned, stuff to carry or things not to carry. Best route?
Seems like you want to take it reasonably easy so you don't feel like %rap when you arrive and hit the 4wd stuff.
Insects and bugs a big deal? Temperatures a concern?
I believe one of the golden rules is not to have any handguns when crossing the border into Canada...

Andy I meant to get back to you but. The tire saga ; made it to AK and back to MT with only one issue developed a bubble on one tire, I am running Goodyear 614 trailer tires, 235x85r16 G rated(14 ply). Tried to get defective tire replaced in AK but they were out, had some coming in on steam ship in 4 days, could not wait. In MT the rear right GY blew , not sure why, may have run over some thing. My two remaining spares were Samson (Chinese ) same specs as GY but truck At's. The first one lasted about 100 miles, the second about 10 miles, that was the one that blew while I was talking to Andy. Put the GY with bubble on and drove to Miles City. They were out of GY's so bought two Chinese trailer tires and proceeded to Black Hills. Went to GY dealer in Rapid City. They only had 63 of GY trailer tires in stock. They replaced the bubbled tire and I bought one and headed down the road, next morning when we got up we had a flat on one of the older tires, have not looked at it to find out why.
So, five tires blew?

Only 3 blew, one went flat while we slept in a rest area after we replaced tires. I usually carry 3 spares on a 3 axle trailer.
I guess I meant "failures".
