Lassie has nothing on Spot ... just ask him or better yet give him a chance and he will show you.

Pictures do not come close to conveying the size and overall impression that Dusty's truck makes when you see it from ground level. His friendliness and good nature were just as big and impressive as his truck. Kudos to you Dusty. It was very nice meeting you.

what was the issue with towing the truck out of the river....the strap kept coming loose from the tow vehicle?

Hey guys it's the trucker you were talking to in glennallen, I hope you guys got the trailer fixed and have a safe trip back. It was fun chatting with you. Look me up if you guys ever come back ill have my bad word (jeep) ready for next year and meet you guys out there somewhere.

We spent three days at Glennallen fixing the trailer and truck. The trailer required some serious welding and reinforcing.
Trucks loaded and we made it to Tok. Washed trucks to keep the Canadians happy. Will head for Whitehorse in the morning.

Glad to hear that you have all that done. Keep the updates coming. The pictures that Henry posted of the trailer repairs did not show well what you had to do. Any chance for more details when you get a chance.

Have a good trip.

I was too busy welding to take pics. We welded a 20ft x4" x1/4" strap on lower frame to to take some of the bowing out and welded up the cracked up rights and reinforced with angle iron.

He has a long build thread on Pirate somewhere, damned nice rig. About the only Dodge left in it is the hood.

Roger/Henry - Glad you guys are back in 1 piece, safe travels!!

I must find this thread.

Must have been an epic trip if it had a Larry, Daryl & Daryl

Showing your age there Cam!

Sent by a dumb ass with a smart phone.

Humor is ageless. :moon:
It was a recurring gag on the trek, but I am a lowly enginerd without sufficient talent for humor to do proper justice to the gag. The team will most likely be searching for a better Larry for the next Trek.
