Parts are arriving, still need 4 gauge wire for the remote control with build in light.

Waiting for the Albright Contactor - Extra Duty 24V DC88-556PL24V to finish the controls.

Meanwhile added the 3rth box and some extra storage for the chainsaw or stuff:

The remote came in today, needs 24V to operate (nothing with 12V)
Kids helped testing the remote and this is also funny to make a remote worklight or something when camping:

Are you preparing for a particular trip or are these ongoing improvements?

I like the musical interludes in your posts.

Here's one you might like. Features a dancing welder. I'll have to get some of those moves going next time I'm welding!

Hi Tasmanic, the HJ is only used for holiday to Croatia or other places with the family and we carry so much stuff the boxes are full.
Now with the 3rth seat the rear can not be packed like before if the kids sit there.

Also using the HJ for trips to old army sites: getting gps coordinates next week from an abandoned nuclear station in Norway.

That music is long ago when I heard it, lived in Amsterdam for ten years so plenty of shops where this is common, but I never inhaled :cheers:

Today visit a nice army store, Dumpstore

And the 4 wire cable is in the pocket, now time to build the winch controls.

Decided to bring a load of kids, I love to take them to a mall and annoy everybody :grinpimp::

Confirmed this is the best vehicle to take home, they can dump the bicycles in the rear and drive to school

Some progress finally, a lot of wires and stuff had to become one without starting a fire.
Driving to Germany this weekend, 1000km, initial setup of the cables (250 Amp when engine is running) :

The big wires come from an abandoned NATO nuclear shelter :poof:

lol, just wanted one because they exist :smokin:

In this position when the cable breaks and comes trough the windscreen I lean to the passenger side and hide behind the dash while operating the winch from inside :hmm:

The wheel chair is a typical Dutch wasted care money, after 5 years they are thrown away, got it for free, everything works, new value 12000 euro, Kids play with it and it is nice for working, can lift/tilt :slap:

Ready and tested, wireless remote and joystick in cab works (correct in/out :hillbilly:) , the klixon thermostat control sensor meant some more wires to the cab because I can not use 24V from the dash.
The outside cable with light is next to connect:
