Good job Dave!

Sweet! Good luck over the next few days bud. Gonna be tough!

With all the parties and holiday treats here at work and at home this last week I was worried for sure but will try to carry those "lessons" a bit into this week.

We are doing the Christmas dinner at my house so that helps me to be able to control the fat quite a lot.

That's great...you did better than I did!

I gained...but it's too be expect...my wife an daughter have been baking cookies for almost two weeks...I am only so strong ;)

Losing 21 lbs in 2 weeks is a great accomplishment, congratulations on that, but it's far from the norm. People on The Biggest Loser don't even do that and they are working out hard nonstop, and have a trainer, doctor and nutritionist standing over them 24-7. 2 pounds a week is considered a healthy loss by nearly everything I've read.

Previously when I did WW I did loose 6 or 7 that first week but that has a lot to do with pre-diet picgouts. This time I was dieting before I started so I didn't expect that big first week loss instead of having that "last big pigout."

Last time I lost over 100lbs. in about a year. This was incredible to both WW and my Doctor. I'll be very happy to average 2-3 pounds a week over the next year as I did before.

Yes, I need to get more exercise and I will. I also admittedly had a rough week food wise with way too many dips into the Christmas goodies and some poor self control at get-togethers. It's going to happen. If I had better food self-control I wouldn't be heavy to start with. If I stay the same weight through the holidays that's a win for me.

It works differently for everyone, that's for sure.

Sporin, one recommendation I have is to drink as much water as possible. It not only helps speed up your metabolism a bit, but it also suppresses your appetite.

I got kinda fat after college, but I've managed to drop over 40 lbs. in the last year. I'm in decent shape now. I got myself on a much better diet and kept myself on it. I didn't work out enough but was still losing weight. I've been working out almost daily for the past few months.

Ya...everyone has their own pace...and in weight loss faster is not always better in most cases.

Everyone is pulling for you, and trying to push you...sometimes tough love helps, sometimes not...and sometimes I feel like a nut, and some times I don't ;)

C r a p ...put on over 5 lbs :bang:

Dave, hope your weight in is better than mine was :bang:

NICE!!! I think I gained that much this week!
