How are you feeling Lane? Beer should be prescribed for rapid recovery

Pretty good, constant pain is pretty much gone but I'm still moving slow. Should be able to start puttering around tomorrow or Tuesday. Cut the meds in half today so I'm taking a lot less naps!
I have been eyeing a bottle of Bette's wine!

I have done that before, rubbed my eyes after I was done cutting (2hrs later) and smeared something foreign into my eye, and scratched it at the same time. Yea that was alot of fun and itches like hell after they yank it outa there. FYI: If its been more than 24hrs and it still hasn't stopped itching, go to the doctor and they will check it out, rust rings SUCK.

first thing i did was to go to the walk in clinic down the street that was open on sunday and they got most of it out but couldn't get the rest so they sent me to the ophthalmologist and they got the remaining piese out as well as the rust ring. its been a sucky two days its felt like there was a razor sharp rock under my eye lid for two days thank god its starting to feel better. the eye doctor also dialated my eye so it would be more confortible with the puple not reacting to light all the time it wouldent hurt so much but that left it blury for a couple days and gave me awesome night vision...like a cat:D
made me a sweet improvised eye patch with a crapy pair of sun glasses...

Need to find some time to clean my garage this weekend, no room for the car right now, too much junk. But we just passed our canoe off to my b-i-l which frees up a lot of wall space so with any luck I can get rid of some stuff, and organize and hang some other stuff.

Also need to clear my work bench, install my vice and another light, and get ready to pull the locker actuators off my truck and rehab them (hopefully).

This will be around a kid's birthday party, 2 HOP events, and some other thing my wife has planned.... going to be a busy weekend.

That's right, it's only Tuesday and I'm already thinking about the weekend. :)

man ive been thinking about this weekend since last year:rolleyes:

Damn, time to call the doctor... I think I have a bladder infection or something. Feels like I have a painfully full bladder all the time, started late last week, very mild, thought it was nothing, but today it's lingering.

A bit TMI, but anyone ever have something this?

.......and the Doctor has no idea. Urine test came back clean, no sign of infection or kidney stone trauma. Lots of painful prodding and poking and he ruled out hernia or bowel obstruction. Sent me for blood work and sent me home. Take Tylenol for the pain and let us know if it gets worse.

Lovely.

So still having the same discomfort and hoping it goes away.

On the plus side, my blood pressure was the lowest it's been in years, 146/80 iirc. Top number still a shade high but SO much better then in the past. My bottom number has been over 100 the last 2 times I had it done. So the diet and exercise is paying off health-wise, even if I"m not seeing the big poundage dip as fast as I'd like.

Don't you hate that! Always better if they can give you a reason for the pain.
I know you secretly wanted the hernia. : )
