I leave sunday for Rutland VT. I'll be there a week running around a scrapyard making crazy things.

We have a show

SATURDAY JUNE 13th 2009 (raindate June 14th)
doors 7:30, performance 8pm
$5 suggested donation

It's pretty fun. I think there's some free camping around if you can be quiet. Some pictures of the last time we were in Rutland are on our webpage, click on events.

I saw you guys a couple years ago at Macs Steel, really cool show, that has to be a lot of fun. I'll be there if I'm in the Rutland area this weekend.

20 year High School reunion this weekend. Going to help finish the Alumni Day Parade class float tonight, parade and class BBQ tomorrow.

I didn't expect to be, but I'm excited to attend, glad it stopped raining.

Part 1 of 20th reunion festivities last night, finishing the float. Reconnected with some great old friends, and re-met a lot fo folks I barely knew.

Amazing how much--and how little--people change over 20 years, myself included.
A 100% positive experience so far though.

Best thing about reunions (besides seeing old friends) is seeing the karmic realignment that life deals out to the people that were not so nice back in the day. That and the open bar for the first hour of the event.

missed my 20th reunion today in Woodstock VT
where did you go Dave

Lebanon NH. Alumni Day is pretty big for Lebanon, big parade, lots of activities. Thankfully the weather was good (it's raining now though).

Day 2 went well, glad I went overall, made some good reconnections plus saw a lot of good friends that I have kept in touch with but don't see often enough. Said hi to a lot of folks I don't expect to see for another 20 years.

Hoping to get in some fishing tomorrow before my inlaws and my wife's cousin arrive for a visit.

had to replace the water pump in the 80 today since it was dripping out of bearing also decided it was a good time to hose out the radiator....IH8MUD thing was clogged full of mud i really need to stay out of that crap but its too fun :hillbilly: this is what happens when you wheel almost every weekend

Made some progress in the right direction for getting the H55 installed on the FJ45. Headed up to Juniors place to get the ebrake installed on the T-case. We ran into a snag when we found we were missing a bearing for the output shaft. You would figured that Man-a-fre would have included it in the kit.

Well we could at least look at the t-case and tranny. I was told from a guy here on Mud that it might be a rebuild since it was painted a light blue. The t-case had a bearing that we want to replace. Premature wear may have been caused from the incorrect preload on the output shaft. We will probably end up rebuilding the t-case just to be on the safe side.

Looked into the transmission and everything looked good except the top cover gasket was leaking. I’m glad we looked at it since the 5th gear oiler was missing. The 5th gear unit look good so it appears there was no damage done. I’m glad we tore it apart to inspect. I would have been SO pissed if I fried the 5th gear.

Tires are due to arrive today and Alcan charged my credit card on Saturday so I should hopefully see the springs this week too.

You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

jumps are scary as hell... 5 ft in the air at 30-ish mph = scary. i am getting better at it though...

it is much more up my alley. way easier to work on than the truck, much more durable, more affordable and for me, more fun offroad. i am digging in. someone is coming to look at the truck tonight. i hope it sells. i will be sad to see it go but its time...

Headed to WNWL (weds night wheeling league) we do this a couple times a month..... details to follow

No Napoleon, that would be like driving off camber, this is Peepers we're talking about here!
