Been having a debate with a few co worker about-Is my Land Cruiser a truck or an SUV? I always called it a truck but they say it is an SUV and not a truck. But it's got a truck frame. So it's a truck I think.

Truck, you can't bring home 12 sheets of plywood, 4 eight foot 4x4's, 4 sixteen foot 2x6's, 12 eight foot 2x4's couple sheets of latice and the groceries in an SUV!

Yawn.... It's an SUV. I lot of SUV's have a truck frame. A truck has a bed...... Next question.

also known as a " a mall cruiser", able to cruise flat paved parking lots with an ocasional jump over a curb

When I'm driving, it's a truck. When the SWMBO is driving, it's an SUV.

I feel your pain Lane. I have to get my inspected (it has been 2 years since my last inspection and my last Fall Gathering) and I have only around 350 miles since then. On the other hand, I'm willing to bet our low miles were mostly offroad. :clap:
 
The guy who bought my old green 70 series spent about $50k restoring it. Almost done. Not sure I agree with some of the cosmetics but overall it's a nice resto with a turbo added.

Little too pimped for my tastes but I like what he's done with it. I was surprised as the guy is about 10 years older than I am. To each his own.
