Humm, I never had an issue with seeing my own injuries, Ripped up myself alot doing martial arts tournaments and down hill mountain bike racing, Funny I almost passed out watching the doc cut out an ingrown toe nail, whew, it felt like I was floating up,,,up then I got all warm and started sweating, almost TKO'ed, The nurse smacked me a little on the cheek and handed me a glass of water, I felt like an idiot

WHAT!!!!!!! You mean Interco & Pitbull do NOT make their own tires????????????? WTF

Darn it! I need bigger tires too!

You'd be amazed how many products are made in the same factories with the same machinery but sell for different prices. Tires, food, clothes, everything. Owning a tire factory would be impossible for tiny companies like Pitbull and Interco

A new off-road company/store popped up the other week on Rte 1 in Foxboro, right across the week from the stadium and adjacent to Rodman Ford. Stopped by. Looks like they are just setting up but they were working on trucks doing a few lifts etc.

Ya, but they make them themselves:meh: :)

"Maxxis Tires are made by Cheng Shin Rubber, one of the largest manufacturers of tires in the world. They are based out of Taiwan and have passenger and light truck tire factories in Taiwan, China, and Thailand. They also produce ATV, motorcycle, lawn and garden, medium truck, and industrial tires." They have a large list of companies they produce tires for.

I guess I was trying to piggy back John's comment on how many things are contracted out to one company and sell under different names, but add to it about how many things are made outside the US when we think they are made here as well. I like Maxxis tires so please don't think I was trying to say they weren't good as they are made in Taiwan. Sorry if it came across that way.

Wow that's interesting. I will have to check it out.

Looks like Interco tires will be tough to find for a little while

Denman Tire faces closure without help - TribToday.com - News, Sports, Jobs, Community Information - Tribune Chronicle - Warren, OH

Denman seems to make both Super Swamper and Pitbulls tires.

Anyone else heard this?
Interco has their tires molds spread out between a few factories. Denman Tire produced some but not all of the Interco line so only certain models/sizes are effected. They are moving the molds from Denman to another factory and should be back to producing the full line within a few months.

Luna (almost 11) Finn, (10 months)

Poor Luna is getting gimpy in her old age. We took them both to the dog park yesterday and Luna was limping heavily the rest of the day (it was her first visit there in 6 months). Poor girl. She seems MUCH better this morning but I'd say her run-at-a-full-clip days are clearly over.... the heart is willing but the body can't take it anymore. :(

Sorta like people.

It's cool, I didn't take it that way:cheers:
