That would look great if the pool shock bleached half of him

I had a dream last night where a couple people that in life couldn't identify a LC, pointed at a truck that went by and exclaimed "LV!".

Hell, I don't even know what makes an LV an LV and not just an FJ55.

I'm sure Jason Peters will jump in shortly to inform you of the differences and how an LV is a specific FJ45 not and FJ55.

I don't know where to begin. . . LV stands for "left hand drive Van" flipper John actually had a rare fj45v that was right hand drive that he picked up from Oz. the fj55 is what replaced the fj45lv in 1968or 69 as toyotas 4dr landcruiser. then the fj60 replaced the fj55 and so on. atleast in the dream they were not calling it a jeep or rover.
hth

technically my current truck is a 1974 FJ55lv.

LV has become slang for the 45 wagon although it covers many models. The fact that you mentioned a 55 rather than the 45 means you are much smarter and more worldly though you've now dented Foggie's fragile cruiser ego.

Note: my aussie 45 was technically a 45v. There is only v or lv designations. They don't use RV for RHD cuz a 45 RV would just sound stupid

my ego has been crushed. but I am ok wit that.

Ah, so LV means a 45 or 55 with 4 doors and the hatch/tailgate as opposed to the troopy, which is a 45 or 55 with two doors and ambulance doors?

I'm pretty happy that this question I've been wondering for a while was prompted by a dream. I usually have good dreams. I beat the s*** out of George Lucas once for ruining Star Wars.

I was at the N Andover driveshaft shop yesterday and managed to talk to some sales shmuck from the Boston office. He was interested in doing a 10%ish discount for YT members. He wants a members list so not just any tool can walk up with the magic words "Yankee Toys" to get a discount.

He was also interested in doing a giveaway for next year's FG, maybe a $100 gift certificate or something.

Cool. We can get him a member list. Lets do it after the FG when we have an updated version.

Cone? It's a lamp shade! LOL Good to hear all is well.

Are there any Kimbo Slice fans here? If you don't know who I mean look here, he's the guy without the caved in face.

He will be in attendance at WCF 8 in Wilmington at the Shriner's Auditorium on 9/26.

If you're interested, contact me for how to get tickets. I will also give any YT members VIP passes if they buy tickets. That will get you access to the private lounge area where some other VIP will be. Last time Kevin James (The King of Queens) came and stayed for the whole night.

If anyone's in the Windsor VT area on Saturday I'll be attempting to install my Downey Cable Conversion on my rear diff that afternoon.

Managed to have them sneak one out to me as they locked the doors. Pretty stout kit by the looks of everything, instructions look decent though my locker knowledge is weak to start with. Should be entertaining at the least.

Wow, I hadn't heard that Downey closed. Too bad.

I'm looking for the ultimate marinade recipe. I search Google but could not find the one I want. John on Sunday mentioned it. Maybe he could post it here or give me a link. I'm looking for the one with Coca Cola in it I believe.

Thought folks might be interested in seeing a different wheel option that Stockton can build. It's a GM K10 center that accepts the oem chrome moonie on 16x7 outers. I did not end up going with them but they're kinda cool.
