A coworker sent me this. Whole room at this antique mall with nothing but coleman.

Used to have one of the brown ($48) coolers. Such power of Coleman gear to invoke fond memories.

Is that a cooler?? I thought it was some kind of old coleman fridge

Just looks like a fridge. I stood mine in a VW bus. Poor man's Westfalia. Had some shelves as I recall. Not so great at keeping the cold in.

I went to get the picnic stove but literally no one makes the fuel canisters for it anymore. Thing was brand new looking so that sucks.

Look at all those affordably priced Big Hats! What did you get out of that stash?

I would have spent every dollar in my wallet on what can be seen...

Huh, I've got that big one in the middle for $99. Never seen one before. I don't know when I got it.
I can't get it to work.

If that's a red "Jaffe" globe for a 200 series lantern, it's extremely rare and worth about $500-!

These were a special run of red globes for all different makes of lanterns, made from Coleman USA glass which were sent off to a glass staining shop that stained them red. They're deep and dark red and just the thing for star gazing. Because they were a limited time period being made, they don't show up for sale that often, and the 200 series size is exceedingly rare.

They're no longer made because the company that was staining the glass had a proprietary process, which was sold to a glass maker in mehico, never to be pursued again in the past 40 years...

Might have to go full disassembly.
The one I have was cranky until I cleaned all the “mud” from bugs out of the Bunsen, the cast part under the generator and burner rings.
Have you taken anything apart on it?

No, it just sits like an ornament on the shelf with all the other Coleman stuff. I only ever use my bought new
1980 421 dual burner white gas stove, 44 yrs and I still carry it in the original cardboard box. LOL.
Old guys, eh.....
In Canada we have no access to anything to fix these old ones. With 2 land cruisers and a new 2010 Tundra RCSB time is
limited for other stuff.

Wow, good eye! ...cool info about Coleman's colored globes. Now I want one for a couple of my old lamps.
