Got bored and translated a few stickers in the truck

Ah. This clarifies many things for me.

Moths fly out of the fuel filler door.

If I am ever told I can't drive somewhere I'll point out my truck is allowed on forbidden roads.

No real updates because I've just been driving it. It's been to s***ty to park my lightning outside, so it hasn't been in the garage.

I have put together a list of things I want to change.

I need to replace the rear wiper arm. It's worn and doesn't make contact with the top of the window. I also plan to repaint the front.

I need to finish installing the front flare trim.

I'm replacing all 4 window motors

Source a set of JDM rear rotors and do rear brakes

Build an lines for the trans cooler

Get a set of extended brake lines

Panhard and away bar brackets from dvs.

Belt moulding trim and the rear windows.

Oh ... And finally get around to putting in an OEM wheel.

What a miserable ****ing day.

New headlights, corners and blinkers will be here Saturday. New bumper panel and hood latch support will be here next week. I'll replace the radiator cowl this summer.
Time to hunt for a bumper. My buddy can't get me one in any timeframe.
I pulled the lights off and put them together with epoxy. So they'll work for now. The hods going to need to come off and be straightened.

Don't ask how. I don't feel like explaining it.

Ugh…. That doesn’t look fun.

I had similar damage a few years back after hitting a deer at 45 mph. I was able to straighten the bumper and replace most damaged stuff with components from my parts cruiser .

I guess that solves the bumper cap issue…:frown:

I was going about 10...

Both bumper brackets are mangled and the cap is gone. So now it's capless on both ends.

I got an OEM bumper panel and the support for the hood release coming from Toyota.
I got some DEPO headlights, corners and blinkers. I stayed with clear. They'll be here Saturday. The grill didn't break. So I got lucky.

The real issue is i hate almost ever bumper made for these trucks.

Mind sharing what your ideal bumper looks like?

Tube and plate. Minimalist. The 4x4 laba is close. But it leaves way to much exposed underneath.

I'll add that the dvs that @Feldrian has on his lx is pretty dope. And I'm not usually I to that style

Well. Put on new headlights, corners and blinkers. Still waiting for the sheet metal so I can align the hood.
Also replaced my heater control valve and bypassed the rear heater. I need to order the molded hose, but for now this is fine.
