So all these panels and parts got prepped this week. A little more body work on a few of them and lots of scuffing for prep.

Next week we will do the other side of all these pieces and the main body. At that point we are done and it’s ready for a painter. On that front too, I got two painters in the loop for this Troopy.

My Friend who powder coated my bumper told me Vevor on Amazon sell a small paint both with down draft under 1200$ CAD . If you plan to do more it’s foldable and reusable too

Tony, I believe I read about you putting 100 series washer nozzles on either this troopy or @jomelo’s 79. Am I correct? How was the fit and function? I’d like to replace the 2 jet washer nozzles on my 79 double cab with either the 3 jet or a spray type. Any advice?

You are thinking 100-series nozzles. I am not sure if they fit in a 79 but I could check tomorrow. You can adjust both double and triple nozzles, fyi.

A few things we are adding to the Troopy, power door locks, power windows and power mirrors. A tilt column as well, the Troopy never had that being a base model.

My 2017 double cab didn’t come with power door locks or windows… GCC base package. How in the world a 2017 can still come that way is beyond me. I feel like I’m 17 again leaning across the passenger seat to roll down the window when at a police checkpoint in a RHD country or when someone approaches me from that side… I really would like to do the power door lock and window mod. Will be following.

Seems we are back on with @kelly saad

So doing some quick prep before it gets picked up and is off to him.

Moved it around to the lift bay this morning.

Pulled the engine and trans, did our final welding on the frame and prepped for paint on frame.

Body back on it by end of tomorrow and then we just wait for the transport.
