So, tossed the old “jig” back in from last summer, to make sure this is all aligned.

Inner and outer rear crossmember are in. A little bit more fine tuning on fitment and we are ready. This is a new 78-model crossmember so there is a few small differences to deal with but I am happy with how it is all playing out. Like I say, this part of the body rebuild was MAJOR!

This support was spot welded in, I removed it to do the work.

Test fitting it back in place, it aligns up nearly perfect. That’s good, it’s means all this didn’t move during all the work and welding.

Big, enormous, thanks to @Willis and the Fit Garage guys. I wanted to have them do the install but the project has needed a bit more love than I anticipated. I hate having people wait on me. Blows my mind the level of refresh this truck is getting- every little offending part is cut out and replaced. A true work of art if nothing else. carry on
