You know i started out thinking grunter and pdi, but i like keeping money too! Yeah had a convo with Glenn just now. Very responsive. Says about early July.
Thats ok i can wait. Ive got lots of work to do on the old girl, including repainting her.

He has a long waiting list i think. But if you can wait than that's probably a good option.

You could save money on the intercooler too. Aren't those flash intercoolers around $2k? I can't see how they're 10x better than a no name ebay $200 intercooler.
On a 70 series to fit a decent sized front mount cooler the AC needs to be modified as well. Plus a bolt in kit with all the brackets ect saves time stuffing around and is well worth it imho

If you do your research, and are patient, there's some good intercooler cores on ebay.
There's also lots of very average ones

So in looking around for compensators for my pump, i saw a cheaper than usual no core deposit hdt pump. My pump wants renewing as well as a compensator.

Do you think this seller is dodgy? Price seems too good compared to anyone else offering a hdt pump.

epay 1hdt pump

Then theres an exact same ad thats a touch more, but an add clone.

What kinda power you get with it that lean? Whats your gauge?
Only about 190hp. I'm using an innovate LM2

I know nothing about those but if you currently don't have a boost compensator on the fuel pump start there it should make a massive differnce. Either boost will build far quicker or you will have a lot less black smoke.

I have been searching for the right compensator for my pump, not heaps of info around for what works with what. On top of that my pump could prolly do with a rebuild, so had me looking at the turbo pumps. Hopefully find the right thing!

How will boost build quicker with a compensator added to a non compensated 10mm pump? All a compensator does is removes fueling when off boost and during spool which can definitely help make less black smoke but it'll never build boost quicker.
