Good times out at HF this weekend. We were heavy on the white lifted Lexus SUV's lol.

I finally got around to installing the SD Offroad ARB Dual Compressor/Switch Pros mount. I first had to uninstall the Slee mount which will now be going to its new home in @SouthTxGX's truck very soon. Just a fair waring for those of you considering installing this mount, it's not the most fun install in the world due to the extreme lack of room needed to bolt everything up. I haven't cursed that many times during an install in a looooong time and I wear a M/L glove, good luck to those with larger hands lol. I had a hell of a time getting the manifold ports lined up where I wanted them and then keeping each fitting properly tightened in order to prevent leaks. I highly suggest you use Teflon tape on the air fittings to help prevent this.

You will need to buy an additional 90 degree air fitting in order to use the hose provided in the ARB Manifold kit due to it's inability to swivel. I purchased the one pictured below locally for $7. ARB sells one that you can find at NorthRidge 4x4 as well: ARB 90 Deg Elbow JIC4 Male 1/4in NPT Male 2PK - https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/compressor-mounts-accessories/0740110-arb-90-deg-elbow-jic4-male-1-4in-npt-male-2pk

I like that the manifold is on its own bracket behind the compressor, it's a better location than how the Slee bracket chose to orient it IMHO. I decided to leave the Switch Pros 9100 unit off until 1) I have a place to mount the remote (still waiting on Treaty Oak there haha) and 2) I have a need for the additional switches. For now I will retain the Toyota style switch for the compressor that's already in place. Note that you do have to remove the four bolts holding the mount to the brackets should you have a blown fuse, but it's a rather easy removal with an Allen wrench.

There's a place for everything and everything in its place with this mount, it helps to keep the engine bay electrical clean, structured, well thought out and easy to access and work on. I'll be sure to post another pic once the Switch Pros is installed. Now to decide between ARB air lockers or Eaton/Harrop E-Lockers!?

Where are you're quick connect air couplers for accessory air lines?

No accessory air lines, just the main coupler. I find the Wifey System a tad silly, YMMV.

I like the idea of E-lockers since you don’t have to worry about air leaks or the compressor giving out at the wrong time.
Problem with E locks as far as I understand it is they work with 4:88 and lower gears. Newer ARB lockers have less issues than the older one as as well.

You have a wire to worry about with the electric ones, it's the age old debate. Pick your poison and drive on.

I had one of the old ARB lockers on the front and it leaked and would not engage. Had to take it back to YotaMasters and they dealt with ARB to get me a new one (no charges). I forget, and I have it posted somewhere I think on my build thread about the color rings used. One color (orange?) is the old unreliable Chinese ones and another color is used for the new ones. I'd have to go and try to find that if anyone really cares. I'm quite sure those Chinese ones have been purged by now unless some vendor has one sitting on his shelf for the past 3 years.
But Tex68w is correct, Patato's, Pototo's. For me with air lockers is I HAVE to have an air compressor, which I would want anyways. And it doesn't really matter if it's an air line or electrical line if it gets hung up on something and gets pulled out. Either way you'll lose your locker.

@Tex68w I'm curious where the blue anodized plug in your ARB quick release came from? I've never seen one before.

Sure does! What a great find, thanks.

He's very popular with the 80 and 100 series crowds. I have purchased a few things from him over the years.

Just a little admiration while at the range this morning. Slight change coming later today.

I bet it’s gonna be pretty sweet

He’s trading it for something else and gonna use his LC more often. Just watch.

And I never got my rear bumper swap!!

I heard he’s

I heard he’s trading it for a Cherokee Trailhawk
Not that it matters but I had a 2019 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with the 5.7 HEMI and it was sublime. Right up until an idiot rear ended me while I was stopped doing more than 55mph while looking at her phone. Oh and my at the time 3mo old baby girl was in the car with me. Needless to say I sold it to break even due to the frame damage and the body lines not matching up. The poor body shop did the best they could but it should of been totaled. I miss that thing a lot. That accident messed up my hip pretty bad but due to covid I still cannot get the surgery I need in time to fix it.
