Yikes! The GX is boring but I’d take it all day long over a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I’ll agree but only after 100k miles when talking about long term reliability and aftermarket goodies. Everything else was better or comparable in my Trailhawk. It’s 4WD system and Kevlar tires were pretty awesome and seats were sublime and infotainment system was class leading. But I digress. I’m happy with my GX’s 1,000%. I’ll take boring slow old tech Toyotas that’ll last forever and go anywhere over anything else. If I had more wealth I’d buy a set of 2021 GX’s, a 2021 LX and another Trailhawk.

*edit*
Not intending to bring down the GX at all, the contrary in fact.

...Slight change coming later today.

C'mon man, there's parts of the world where it's already tomorrow... :)

Haha, it's no big deal, like I said earlier, it's only a slight change. These are the same general color and size but have slightly less offset and are from a more mainstream brand. I'll get a full side shot tomorrow, I just ran out of daylight today. Another fella who posted above will have my SCS wheels on his GX tomorrow. He didn't have the time to play the SCS hurry up, wait and get lucky game so I obliged and traded mine for these Method 704's that he had ordered and didn't have enough offset to work with his new fancy shocks. Many thanks @SouthTxGX, you went over and beyond the call of duty on this trade, I just hope you're happy with your new shoes.

Is it too late for me to get them back from you?

Just kidding. I’m just glad they worked out for someone. I should’ve done more research before ordering. Like I said earlier, I know these probably weren’t on your radar for your next set of wheels but you were still willing to make the swap and I truly appreciate that.

I am a Method fan, I've run a few sets on previous builds and I really like the 314's for the LC build. I'm glad the SCS wheels will get you where you need to be sooner rather than later and I am more than content with the trade. Looking forward to seeing them on your GX soon.

Back out at the range this morning. There were quite a few Toyota's present lol and I passed another TRD OR 4Runner coming in on my way out.

Looks like a great day all around.

I trimmed off a tiny bit more out back this afternoon. I went as far up as possible without exposing the harnesses and clips underneath along the sides and while still blending it in at the corners with existing rear bumper cut. I could go a lot higher but I don't want to expose the bumper/frame out back without anything to cover it and I am also concerned about going too high without knowing which rear bumper I'll end up with and where it'll need to be cut. It's not like you add the plastic back on lol. The silly scallops along the sides makes things weird back there, lets just say that I am not in love with it but it'll do and provide more clearance until I get a proper bumper back there.

Oh I like that! I need to do mine soon. After cutting the front and sides, the rear sits too low.

I am not in love with it but I wasn't a fan of the angle I had prior to it either. This does buy me about 2.5" of clearance directly behind the rear tire compared to before. I'd like to go higher but I'll wait until a rear bumper is chosen and installed.

A little birdie said that the GX might be for sale soon.

Once you go 200 series...
Dude I just traded my 2019 GX460 Luxury for a 2019 LC200. SO happy I did that before I dropped 15k into upgrades I even had shop time scheduled but wife made me “get the truck I keep talking about”

love the GX though I wish it had a supercharged and a tuned suspension so it would be a off-road speedy Baja ready Cayenne

I’m gonna rock my cheap GX until it either falls apart (if in my lifetime) OR someone makes me a good cash offer for it. If I do need to get another truck I’m really eyeballing the LX.
