Yea Hendog you're right, I misread that. So If I understand the base rate is $125 for the first 2 people then $10 per person for the other 8 or roughly $205 per night for the cabin. that still makes is only +/-$20 per night per person.

In regards to wheeling the 31st. I would imagine there will be a trail run on that day as well. I had really planned on getting up there mid-Monday, drop off the goodies and the cooler and go wheeling. Then wheel Tuesday and then Wed is a "who knows what happens" day. Believe me this is completely unorganized so feel free to do whatever comes naturally.

Hey Sylvain---If your scared call the Police!!! :crybaby:

what you say hendog, count me in for right now, haven't rolled the truck this year yet and need to catch up with josh. I would like to appolijize in advance to any one that I might have to DRAG around up there. I know I am not an engineer but I just figured out that the JD FJ40 needs about 69 degrees to rool over backwards. Thanks Patrick Wilson.
PS. Hilery just told me her pass word so look out :)

Am I reading this properly, Could it possibly be that Patrick is throwing his name into the Tellico hat or is he just giving Hendog a hard time???? :hhmm:

take it as you will

Can I go?

Hey I just joined here from GA TTORA. TKINZE showed me this link. I would love to go to tellico as I have never been and dont get many oppurtunities to go since I am in the Army. What kind of space do yall have and if full is there any primitive camping? I will have the wife along as well. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks everyone.
Chris
P.S. I have a decently built FJ Cruiser.

Chris, welcome aboard and it's always good to have a new face. Cool that you have a cruiser, you will find a lot of company on this board.

In regards to camping/accommodations. It's getting a little crowded in the first cabin unless a few bail at the last minute (hope not) so it's hard to say. As I see it there are a few options:

Camping either in Crawfords CG or State line. OR hopefully we can get enough people to commit in time to rent a 2nd 6 man cabin.

Check back in regularly as I am trying to keep the first post up to date.

I’m a probable and would prefer a cabin over having to drag the tent out…

I still get the feeling that a few of the "committed" people might not be quite as committed as i would like. That being said, as of now the cabin is pretty much full so if additional accommodations are required it needs to happen very quickly.

Hey guys, new member of TLCA and frequent guest of GA Cruisers. Josh told me about the trip and I'm hoping I can join in. I drive an 84 xcab on 35's unlocked. Unless there's open space in the cabin, I'm fine with tossing my tent up at stateline.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks!

Well how much is a cabin rental up there? Also how does the camping work/ I wont mind roughing it to sleep as long as there is somewhere to clean up at. Does Crawfords or Stateline have restrooms or showers?

This is getting busy. still need a few to firm up. Updated first post

Crazy question guys - I'm probably going to be driving up there in a tractor trailer. I've emailed Crawford's as a back up already, but does anyone know of a place close to the cabins that I could park? I'm fine with going to Crawford's and staying, but if I get a spot in the cabin, I'd hate to be paying for the cabin AND renting a spot for 2 or 3 days at Crawford's.

gonna be a little tight on the trails with that thing isn't it?

Actually don't think there is parking at the cabin for something that big but don't really know. I know of at least 2 guys trailing their rigs up so parking space might be tight to begin with a the cabin.

Yeah, wasn't planning on being able to park real close. I don't really want to get that close to the dirt road without fully knowing that there's a place to park or at least turn around. Just thought somebody may know someone on the road in that has some space so I'd be closer than Crawford's and could save that $40-$50 for parking.

"gonna be a little tight on the trails with that thing isn't it?"
But it's got like 450HP, 3 granny gears, and like 40" tires! Should do great...right??? J/K of course - Yota lives in the trailer.

Think there will be any snow?

Looks like I will just try and camp at Crawfords. I am going to call them tomorrow and reserve a camping spot. I think I will be fine with an electric hookup. How far is where everyone esle will be?
