We have the minimal tech necessary to call it a tech day. Something will be going on. But mostly it's an excuse to hang out. We don't need each other's help to build/maintain our trucks, so we would rather do it on our own in our own garages, to occupy the boring time between hanging out together... We don't want to tarnish our actual time together with chores. I will be drinking, eating, rc crawling, and berating the poor bastard who is justifying the name of the day.

Cool I wanted to drive someone's fj40 RC to see if I want to spend the money and make that my winter hobby.
