It's hideous

Dammit, I have 42 envy...!
Nice you're getting some good weather to get it out and enjoy it.

It's been 2 years (almost to the day) since I started this thread. Georgia is almost done, meaning I need to wire up the rear license plate lights and that should pretty much make her complete!

This has been an extraordinary journey and I'm proud to say this is the truck that the club built, which was my goal from the beginning.

From the guys who helped me dis-assemble, to Steve's advice and myriad of parts he supplied including some hard to find originals, to Rob Millson's meticulous reassembly and restoration of all of her 1000's of pieces, finally to Jason who rebuilt the rear frame and supplied a skid plate and kick-ass rear bumper that holds a highlift, has adjustable light platform antennae mount and can hold three jerry cans. I also had some help with sand-blasting and rust repair from Rust Blasters in Chilliwack.

I'm truly grateful for all of your help! We are very fortunate to have this high calibre of knowledge and skill in our club.

Georgia is beautiful!

So, this weekend, Georgia, won her category "Best Modified 1980" at the Wings and Wheels Drive-Thru car show at Tradex in Abbotsford. About 200 vehicles were in the show hosted by 360 Fabrication with all proceeds going to Crystal Gala Breast Cancer Foundation.

I'm glad I washed under the fenders! :)
