Ha! Love the popcorn tie-in. We MUD folk are definitely easy to entertain!! The epoxy on the LV is still drying. Some other projects in the body shop are getting all the love right now. Good news is my slot is coming up next. I'll be traveling until first of November. Expect I'll have an update for you when I return. Thanks for the interest; the best motivator there is!!

I had good luck buying nuts and bolts by the pound from CruiserParts. Still in business? They sold my bags full of misc bolts which I then had Barrel Plated in mass. Once clean and fresh I was able to spend time sorting as needed.

Body metalwork is finished! Here's some progress photos detailing the final push.

Step 1 for the hood was to do all possible to determine original paint transitions. They're faint, but present.

Just the typical issues to address - bends, tired seam welds and mystery holes.

Hinges should clean up well.

Tailgate was issue free and got treated to a light blast and epoxy at the same time as the hood.

Next up - Doors! Look pretty good from here.

Nice progress. Tailgate was issue free?!? That’s just not fair I guess I’m thankful to have a decent tailgate. Keep the pics flowing.

Shop decided to start with an easy fix first. Driver's rear got the call

Passenger side rear got the same treatment.

And both got epoxy.

With a little fine tuning the rear doors will be good to go.

Time for a side project or two before tackling those front doors. A slot screw jack resto should provide a greasy diversion.
