That makes sense but also you would think the longer wheelbase would cause the truck to stay flatter and use more of its articulation vertically.

But it kinda makes the who comparison moot. A Ram Powerwagon with a 149" wheelbase getting a 655 RTI must absolutely destroy a 200 series in terms of actual wheel articulation.
2005-2009 Power wagon should be 140.5" wheelbase, and yes they are flex monsters. Dual solid axle helps a ton.

Wheelbase isn't exactly an asset off-road. Though too short is bad also limiting stability in climbing steep grades. But relatively shorter wheelbase is generally preferred.

The interpretation of RTI is the score represents a percentage of travel up the ramp in relation to your wheelbase. So a score of 1000 is 100% of the vehicles wheelbase in ramp travel. Width plays into it too as an advantage for RTI, but it is not computed in the score.

Your talking to the guy who owned a 157" wheelbase F150 for 10 years and wheeled it

I just had not fully thought about the wheelbase playing into the RTI. Im having trouble even understanding what its relevance is now. In terms of actually keeping tires on the ground it doesnt mean a lot I guess. I could have a truck with a 50" wheelbase and get a 1000 RTI and it has 5" of wheel travel. Probably wouldnt be all that great offroad all around.

Does the LX700h OT have E-KDDS like the GX?

I was wondering if he tested the GX550 wrong. I think if he put MTS into rock mode it would have articulated better.
